JUDGES

       USCA Judge Jacob Pope

I have actively engaged in the working dogs sport industry for over 30 years and have filled a variety of roles from serving as a Club President, Helper, Teaching Helper, Performance Judge, and Training Director. I have also competed with my dogs on the regional, national, and international levels in Tracking, Obedience and Protection.

Participating in the working dog world has provided me the opportunity to learn different behavioral philosophies that have enhanced my beliefs both personally and professionally. This sport has given me so many great opportunities, and it is my desire to give back when and where I can.

I am extremely honored and very proud that my dog, Hammer von Heater Proof von Stanford and I were members of the 2015 USA World Team who came in second place amongst teams representing countries from around the world. Another performance highlight came when my dog Heaven “Heath” Tapferen Kreiger and I won the GDSCA 2018 IPO3 National Championship.

Throughout my professional career as a public school and university administrator, I have worked hard to be recognized by students, community partners, and those I have had the honor to supervise as being fair, firm, and deliberate in my execution of leadership duties and responsibilities. I have consistently fostered an atmosphere of open communications where all voices can influence collective success. It is with those same characteristics that I accept and perform my duties as a USCA Performance Judge.

I wish the best of success to all competitors.

      Mr. Raino Flugge

Hello to all,

For those who don’t know me, here's a short BIO. I am married have two children and four grandchildren.

Growing up within a Schutzhund family, I am still fascinated with the GSD even after 50 years. I am very happy to share this hobby with my family.

As an SV/GSSCC Judge, I've judged over 100 Regional and National Championships. I was honored to judge at four WUSV World championships incl. this years WUSV IP in Slovenia.

I trained many dogs and participated in more than 240 trials as an active handler! As of today, I competed at eight World Championships with dogs raised, trained and titled from my own breeding program – Kennel “vom Kiebitzende”. Proud to say, I am still an active dog handler and helper! In the combination as handler, helper and judge, I was able to visit over 30 countries everywhere in the world! Staying up to date with modern dog training and educate myself with the rules and their interpretation is my daily challenge.

I hope to see a lot of old dog friends and meet some new ones. It will be a pleasure to be part of your Regional Championship

To all competitors and organizers – safe travels and best of luck!

Raino Fluegge
